Well, the problem was as follows:
I have an SS-10 running Solaris 2.2 and an IPX running SunOS 4.1.2.
The SS-10 is nfs server for the IPX. After 20 minutes of service
with a smile, the SS-10 starts refusing to serve, replying to
every request with an ICMP "you're talking too fast, slow down"
packet.
I got no feedback, unfortunately -- luckily, though, I found a
workaround: run mountd with the -n option. Argh. I thought
4.1.2 NFS was newer than the 3.0 version?
