Thanks to all who responded. I have not tried any of the recommendations yet.
If anyone has any trouble with the following packages, please let me know.
My original question:
>I heard of a product that displays your application on multiple hosts and is
>useful for demos. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I heard that
>this might have been a Sun product at one time, but I don't even know a title.

There is a free bit of software called xwatchwin that will do what you
want.

The product Showme allows you to not only display your screen or a portion
thereof to more than one other workstation, but also to interact between the
multiple nodes. The product is available from SunSoft or SunExpress.
Try Show-Me from SunExpress 1 800 USE-SunX

ftp to wilma.cs.brown.edu and get the xmx package.
...
Basically one instantiation of the application software uses a
list of X-servers for display and interaction. Clearly if everyone
picks the mouse at the same time chaos can ensue! Therefore, you can
assign which servers have "floor" priv and which have "view" priv.
Please contact John Bazik for more details as he is the person
writing the software (it's very good!). He is: jsb@cs.brown.edu,
the software is XMX2.
The software you are looking for is as follows:
XMX - multi screen display software.
We got a copy of it from
John.Simpson@uk.co.sun-microsystems

Check on a product called Farsite or Farsight. I don't remember the
vendor name.
