I have a partial answer, but am still a little lost regarding the remainder.

-------------------------------
It turns out that 100272-06 came out (25th June 1993), incorporating 100752.
The in.comsat situation is resolved: use 100272-06.
Nobody had any ideas on the yacc situation (except 'try one, then the other,
and choose'). I'll write the Sun help line (I've been paying for service
for years, and never contacted them........)
The 564-05 patch is definitely "bad", but nobody seems to know when a
replacement will be available. It appears, from my poking around, and from
the one individual who also did so, that the comment in 564-05 about
conflicting with 338 is probably a typo. Hopefully the new 564 patch will
correct that so we'll know which patch actually does conflict!

If anyone else has an idea about either the yacc or 564-05 situation,
please don't hesitate to write!
