SUMMARY: Solaris 2.2 network locking

I submitted a question a couple of days ago and as usual got a quick response.

Problem : A Sparc 2 running Solaris 2.2 is getting errors about network locking when automounting from 4.1.1 machines.

Answer : The message appears to be harmless but can be corrected by applying the following patch to the 4.1.x machines :

                1097368
                4.1 4.1.1 4.1.2 4.1.3
                rpc.lockd Jumbo lock daemon patches
