=====ORIGINAL MESSAGE=========
We had to move a SPARCprinter from one machine to another
because a disk went bad. Anyway, I cannot get the printer to work
again on the new machine. I added the required lines to the rc.local
file and rebooted the system (after copying the /usr/SPARCprinter
directory to the new machine). I then ran the SPARCprinter.INSTALL
script which wrote the load.SPARCprinter file in /etc. Now, when I
try to print a file, nothing happens. The lpq command says that the
file is printing for a long time and then finally I get the following
status report at the lpc prompt:
lp:
queing enabled
printing enabled
no entries
unable to print: sys err: Invalid argument
Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

SUMMARY:
It ended up that I needed to reconfigure the kernal since I had been
using the GENERIC_SMALL kernal. I changed back to using the GENERIC
kernal and it all worked fine. Thanks to all that sent responses to
me for this.
Thanks again,
