I returned to work after supper and solved the problem by tinkering. Noone
has responded to my question yet.
The original problem was that I could not perform "newfs" on the Seagate
Elite ST43400ND disk drive. The drive is 2.9GB and I was placing most of
the block 2.8GB in a single g partition.
The solution was to use a smaller g partition. I chose 2.1GB and placed the
rest in the h partition.
