The problem was that I had forgot to export /var/spool/calendar with
anon=1. I got two replies so far. Wayne Schmidt suggested to check if
my local machine was trusted by bcs. Barry Margolin made me remember
to check the anon option: he suggested to set it to anon=0, but I
prefer to have unknow user requests use the daemon id instead of the
root uid. It works like a charm now.
