summary of SMD disks on 4.1 and 4.1.2

Thanks to all that replied and this is for those that asked me to post a
summary.

The wisdom of the net is that one does not need to reformat. But you
need to do a dump, newfs and restore. This will take of the io
clustering (new as of 4.1.1) and also the clean/dirty flag.
