Last week I asked:
>Hi... I would like to know which emulators (hardware and software) for
>MS-DOS and Windows exist for Sun workstations (to be a little more precise,
>IPC, IPX and 600 series). If possible, these should run under Motif...
I received answers from

Basically, the suggestion were two:
------
there is a product called Synergy 386 (maybe 486 now) that is made
by Puzzle Systems Corp, 17485 Monterey Rd, Suite 202, Morgan Hill,
CA 95037 USA. 1 408 779 9909.
This is a DOS Coprocessor S-Bus board. It contains an Intel 386 or
486 CPU and a math coprocessor socket. It has a VGA chipset and
should run DOS 5.0, Windows and any other DOS app. I trialed it
several years ago when it first came out, back then it was pretty
expensive and only ran under Open Windows and SunView. They may run
under Motif now,
------
Sun has a product SunPC which emulates a PC and runs on MS DOS.
The version 3.0 of the S/W runs on OpenWindows 3.0 and under
SunOS 4.1.1.
SunPC 3.0 software provides the capabilities and power of a PC
equipped with an Intel 80286 processor with VGA graphics.
The SunPC hardware is a an actual SBUS card with a 486 chip on it
This allows the double DOS Window.
[ more infos about it can be found on SunFLASH Vol 41 #23 - if someone's
interested, call me]
