total of zero answers, so I started investigating on my own.
Archie came through, with a pointer to ftp.ruf.uni-freiburg.de, whose
sun-fixes directory had the following on index (after some searching).
I'm unsure of the source.

4.1.3. I tried them, and they seem to function.
For 100482-02, Sun said it wouldn't work, and I didn't try it.
