SUMMARY: COnnecting external disk to ipc

THe original configuration was an IPC with a cdrom, the cdrom had an
external terminator. The external terminator was removed and a WREN IV
was installed. The WREN had terminaters installed. Format, boot and
probe-scsi did not "see" the disk. If the cdrom was removed from the
path, everyting worked ok.

I suggested that they change the WREN to have terminator power supplied
by the WREN (I only suspected that it was set to draw power from the
interface since I was helping them remotely). This seems to have solved
the problem.

Thanks to all who replied.
