1. How to print a formatted troff document under NeWSprint:

   use the opost filter.

   for instance to print a maunal page, enter:

   troff -t -man <manual_page_file> | pl :opost

2. How to print a two columns ascii file in landscape mode under NeWSprint:

   pl --r <ascii_file> :/usr/ucb/fmt :/bin/pr -2 -w160 -h <ascii_file> -f :post
print -pl
