Last week, I posted the following:

>Just having upgraded from 4.0.1 to 4.1.1 (on a 3/60), I'm having
>trouble getting bind 4.8.3 to make. I was able to make it on
>4.0.1, but am having trouble with the new release. Which set
>of instructions in the README should be followed ("4.3" or "4.2");
>are there changes to whichever one I should be following?

A number of you replied, but a system crash trashed my mailbox,
so I can't cite everyone who replied. Sorry. After reading
the replies, I decided to throw my lot in with Sun's NIS-with-DNS,
rather than going further with BIND. This may, of course, be a
mistake that I'll have to undo later...

In this connection, I should note Hal Stern's book on NIS and NFS
as a good reference.
