Sorry, I had completely forgotten to mention that I installed an lpd
related patch, i.e. 100305-0x. I don't remember the version, I installed
at least three different versions because the first two were as buggy as
the original lpd. Claus told me -03 creates this problem, Ian said -04
and -05 are buggy, and Per recommended to install -06, which I did, and
everything is fine since then.
Nobody could tell me how to use the mailing feature :-(
