SUMMARY: PC-NFS clients get strange ptys

ORIGINAL PROBLEM:

PC-NFS clients telnetting into ttyp7 on our file server acted like they
had more than 24 lines on the screen.

SOLUTION:

RTFM. In this case, the FM is stty(1). The solution is to

stty rows 24

when the pty seems to have more rows than you want. I'm baffled as to
why it doesn't reset when you log out. Perhaps it's because getty
doesn't get re-run on ptys?
