I have gotten four responses to the above. The most relevant was from
Greg Earle, Sun Microsystems:
No, we have heard of the problem and have developed a test kernel that may be
the solution. Send mail to lm@Sun.COM and let him know that you are suffering
from this problem on several machines. Also try to let him know what the
circumstances are. I have seen this happen here to people, just as they are
exitting SunView.
